Steve & Charlotte are intentionally partnered together in ministry and serve together as the Pastoral Team at ECC.  They came to ECC after having spent the previous 12 years involved in several different areas of youth ministry in Barrie.  Together they discipled and mentored dozens of youth and young adults in the Barrie area.  They have also successfully raised two awesome kids to their near teen years, Ellie and Callum.

Steve is a researcher and teacher who is gifted at administration.  Charlotte is gifted in developing and launching ministry initiatives and connecting with others relationally, asking good questions, drawing them out.  In his spare time Steve loves to read, tinker with cars, and explore new places.  Charlotte is a pioneer at heart and spends her spare time  being creative and awesome.

Jess & Cody Robinson serve as our Worship Directors here at ECC.  Jess is from British Columbia and Cody is from Barrie.  Jess moved to Toronto as a young adult to serve in a ministry there.  They first connected over their shared love of worship and music.  This quickly evolved into coffee dates and drives back and forth between Barrie and Toronto on weekends. Almost a year after meeting they got married at Rounds Ranch!

Worship has always remained an anchor throughout their marriage in good times and hard times.  Something they’ve returned to often within their home as well as leading in Churches when needs would arise.  It’s been over a year since coming on staff with ECC as the worship leaders, what a gift this Church community has been for Cody, Jess and their 2 daughters. The weekly rhythm of leading together and leading with people in the congregation has only increased their love of worship.

Margaret Rose serves as ECC’s Office Administrator and “Church Mom” extraordinaire!  Margaret came on staff here in November 2017.  She is the first voice you will hear if you call our offices and the first face you see if you visit them.

Margaret is fun, friendly and incredibly efficient in her duties, busily working behind the scenes so that our church runs like a well-oiled machine.  She views her role here as her ministry and serves the church as she would Jesus.  Margaret always goes above and beyond the call of duty and serves in many ways at the church in addition to her role on staff.  Margaret and her husband Dave live near Awenda Park in Tiny Township and enjoy many outdoor activities including snowshoeing, kayaking, hiking, and camping!  Together they have a grown daughter named Santana who lives in Toronto.

Clara and Noemi are our 2023-24 interns who serve on our staff team thanks to ECC’s partnership with Liebenzell Mission in Germany and Camp Promise in Barrie.  We are so blessed to have these girls who so faithfully, enthusiastically, and excellently use their gifts to serve Jesus in our children, youth, and outreach initiatives here at the church.

They both bring fun and creativity and a unique outlook and voice to our offices and our church community.
